Wealth Circle #MoneyWins

It’s the end of the year, which means two things:

1) It’s time to celebrate our wins (however hard we may have to look…)

2) It’s time to get a little festive. So, we give you:

The 12 Days of Wealthmas, where we highlighted 12 different Factora Members who’ve made mind-blowing life changes since finishing a Wealth Circle just a couple of weeks ago. Keep scrolling to read their insane results.

(These stories were originally posted on @factora_wealth so if you’re not already following us…the FOMO must be real).

DAY 1 - CRIS V.

"I increased my SI rate from 5% to 30%, reducing my retirement timeline by 38 years. Ipaid off my car loan after our first class. I increased my side hustle income to $750/month. I saved $7,000 over the course of the Wealth Circle—aiming for $20K by May.”

DAY 2 — SASHA K.

“So much has changed since learning about Factora! I’m now an adjunct professor, working on extra consulting work, and creating more fused glasswork for my ETSY store. I’ve been able to increase my net worth 70% since January 2020 and now have an SI rate of 53%.”

DAY 3 — SHELBY D.

"Pre-Factora, I was paying nearly $2,000 in rent per month. I purchased my first home with 3% down (originally was going to do 5% but after running the numbers 3% suited me better) and now my total monthly payment is $2,500 per month...building equity instead of throwing it away!"

DAY 4 — EMILY W.

"Y'ALL... Every dollar matters to me. I'm saving $1,950 a month: $1,500 to my emergency fund, $200 to my ROTH, and an additional $200 for my future business plans and travel, and $50 to my brokerage. I am on my way. It isn't going to happen overnight, but I feel secure in knowing I am all I need."

DAY 5 — NADIA B.

"I'm auto-investing daily, I converted old 401Ks into an IRA, reduced my expenses by 20%, quit my job for work that is aligned with my values, and am on track to buy my first home by early 2021 (it won't be my last home either)."

DAY 6 — JESSICA C.

"Opened an HYSA, deposited $15K. Opened a Betterment account and have recurring weekly deposits. Paid off $9K in credit card debt. My goal is to buy a new house by Jan 2022 and I hope to save at least $45K more in 2021."

DAY 7 — KELLY M.

"My net worth increased by $74K in 10 months...61X my initial investment. My biggest changes: diversifying my portfolio into real estate and business. And the other thing: I set a goal to have $1M net worth by 35 which keeps me so dedicated."

DAY 8 — SHANNON W.

"We paid off my husband's student loans and credit card. I opened an HYSA and filled our emergency fund to $20K. We are now both maxing out our pre-tax accounts (and opening new ones we didn't know we had access to)."

DAY 9 — WHITNEY R.

"I opened an Ally Bank HYSA and deposited the $45,000 that was sitting in a bland Bank of America savings account. I also opened two new robo investing accounts."

DAY 10 — REBA C.

"I increased my income by 61.4% with a consulting project. With this extra income, I can funnel 55% of my income to pay off my student loan debt in 25 months. Calculated my net worth for the first time ever! Projected increase in net worth of 26% from Sept 2020 to Dec 2020 (paying down that debt!)."

DAY 11 — KAYLA C.

"I opened an HYSA for my emergency fund and deposited 30K. I have set up automatic contributions of $2,500 per month for future wedding expenses and doubled my savings rate from 25% to 50%, automating a higher amount into my HSA, Brokerage Accounts, and HYSA."

DAY 12 — GABRIELA C.

"Gives you the goosebumps for how awesome of a network you are gaining. The energy alone is motivating in addition to the forever take-home tools and knowledge you will have in your back pocket for the rest of your life & to pass down to generations."
